The Sound Experiment
Paper Description:
The Sound Experiment is conducted by amateur Hermetic Researcher and Experimenter Isabela Shahira
supervised by The Church of the Hermetic Sciences.
The purpose of the experiment is to discover if the
phones of an ancient language mantra
contain codified information other than which is inherent from its translation.
The research subject(s) have minimal knowledge, education and training (if any) in ancient languages,
ancient history, mythology and religion so that the information retrieved from the mantra phones is not biased. Furthermore,
the literal
and paraphrased translations of the audio files employed were not accessed until the completion of the research.
The experiment is conducted for a period of five years, five days a week and eight hours a day.
During a day's curriculum, the subject(s) sits in a relaxed position and listens to audio files in an ancient language in song and hymn format
for two sessions of four continuous hours. The aim of the student is to exhibit
awareness
of each and every phone through out the entire four hour
session without losing consciousness.
The student(s) records the information retrieved in writings such as stories and essays with inclusive sketches.
These files are stored through out the time interval comprehending the research experiment.
The stored files are reviewed at the conclusion of the research and compiled cohesively and linearly in a descriptive research paper which is submitted to
The Church of the Hermetic Sciences for review, editing and publishing.
